Taking responsibility for all the blessings that God has given us in the various different areas. Our bodies, time, skills, environment and resources are all gifts from Him to be used to edify the church and bring others into knowledge of our God.
To help our church family understand that whether dealing with money, environmental concerns or our own health, there are certain principles that have their ultimate foundation in Creation as depicted in Genesis. In the end, because God is our Creator, and because everything we have is a gift from Him, we are obligated before Him to be good stewards of whatever has been entrusted to us.
To empower our members to utilise all the gifts that our Creator as given us for His glory and to reach out to others to get to know Christ. “However large, however small the possessions of any individual, let him remember that it is his only in trust. For his strength, skill, time, talents, opportunities, and means, he must render an account to God. This is an individual work; God gives to us, that we may become like Him, generous, noble, beneficent, by giving to others” ~ Counsels on Stewardship pg 22. We believe that this is something that we all can get involved in soul winning no matter what age, education or gender. At the end of time we want our Lord to say, “Well done, my good and faithful servant”.
